It’s been more than two decades since 9/11/01 — a day that forever changed our nation. In the aftermath of heartbreak came an extraordinary wave of courage, unity, and service. On this 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, we invite you to honor the lives lost and the heroes who rose by serving your community — with your hands, your heart, and your hope.
“We Serve to Remember” is a weeklong, youth-led initiative to turn remembrance into action. From September 8–12, more than 100 youth volunteers will come together to:
💙 Distribute over 10 tons of food to families in need
💙 Sew 500+ Stuffed Love Heart pillows for children in crisis
💙 Write 1,500+ handwritten “In Honor” tribute cards
💙 Recognize local first responders through flags, ceremonies, and acts of kindness
💙 Post a powerful 9/11 digital tribute to unite our broader community
This is not just about looking back — it’s about moving forward, together. When we serve, we remember. When we lead with love, we honor every sacrifice made on that day.
